The Huron Mills association was begun by a group of young couples in southeast Michigan to encourage and support the challenging work of parenting for strong and healthy families
We believe that the family unit is the foundation of society. For society to prosper and human beings to flourish, parents need to have a clear understanding of their role and purpose: to help their children become women and men of good moral character capable of assuming responsibility in the world.
This task of character formation begins at the earliest stages of childhood development and continues to adulthood and beyond: it’s the work of a lifetime.
Each stage in a child’s life presents its own unique challenges, and parents need to prepare to understand and address these challenges ahead of time.
To help parents in their role as primary educators of their children, we offer practical, case study-based courses, offered by parenting professionals through Family Enrichment, USA. These courses will begin in September 2026.
Until then we hope to set a solid foundation with community building events.
